To meet future needs and develop our operations, we are now looking for a Group Manager for our personal injury operations. We are looking for someone who has the desire to drive and lead change and development work, and who wants to contribute with courage and curiosity in our growth journey.
About the Job
Your task will be to create the best conditions for our employees and to continue developing the department into a future-proof and efficient claims handling operation.
You will lead and develop the company's personal injury claims group, which consists of eight Personal Injury Adjusters. This work includes personnel planning and streamlining our delivery. Working towards a unified claims handling process and a culture in the group that means supporting each other and seeing the whole rather than just oneself and one's own interests. As a leader, this means you lead with a focus on performance, energy, and passion – that’s how we want to achieve results together.
Your tasks will also include handling claims yourself as part of your role, with the extent varying over time depending on the inflow of claims, vacations, etc. You will contribute to the transition towards an increasingly digital management of our claims. Additionally, you will actively participate in the claims department's management team and thus share the responsibility for the entire department's development.
You will be part of the management team for Skaraborg's claims department, which consists of over 50 employees divided into four groups: Personal Injuries, Motor Injuries, Combined Injuries, and Claims Prevention.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who currently works in some form of leadership role or has previous experience as a leader. As a person, you are curious and brave when it comes to developing businesses, work methods, and employees. You are not afraid to make decisions and have a strong ability to execute. You are a good listener, can create an inclusive culture, and are a good role model who acknowledges and celebrates successes. You have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
You need to be able to plan your workday and tasks in a structured and independent manner. You also need to be able to combine results orientation with a strong customer focus. If you have experience in administrative work, this is an asset as the work is largely administrative in nature. We would like you to have relevant experience in claims handling or have medical knowledge that can be beneficial in the role.
